Based in Catskill, NY, We serve the Hudson Valley and surrounding regions, within 3 hours of New York City, Albany, Saratoga Springs, the Berkshires, Hartford, New Haven, Worcester, and Ithaca—making our workshops easy to bring across New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. And as we grow, our dream is to take Handmade Haven on the road, bringing creativity to communities across the U.S.

Handmade Haven was created by Makayla, an artist and workshop host who believes in the magic of making things by hand and having fun while doing it. Rooted in play, creativity, and connection, Handmade Haven is all about giving your inner child a seat at the table. From junk journals to textured art and everything in between, Makayla’s workshops are designed to spark joy, build community, and remind you that you are creative, everyone is.
